Ever wondered what power your MR2 is putting down?
Want to calibrate your boost controller or tweak any other things?

Why not do it properly on a dyno and measure the differences.

I was looking at getting another 'Shootout' (basic, two power runs) done soon, and was wondering if anyone else wants to join in? the more MR2s (or others) we get, the cheaper it should be.

This will most likely be held at Boostworx in Cavan, unless someone else knows another one cheaper? hoping to aim around the ~$50 mark, per car.

Let me know within the next week or so.

Cheers

OK just called Boostworx...
if we can get 10 to 20 cars then its about $30/car for two power runs.
5-10 cars looking at about $40/car
2-3 looking at $60-80 (closer to $60 I'd say)
(1 car is $80)
So the trend is more cars, cheaper it is.

Jesus thats cheap!  I'd be interested in winding mine up a couple of times to look at where the powerband/AFR is...

This would actually be really handy to do once I've built and run in the 1MZ.  When were you planning on doing this?

Not sure when, hoping to get more than 3 cars, but probably on a Sat before the WTAC.
Bring SP23 and MR2 lol

I'd love to.... but there's no point with my worn-out turbo... It'll probably blow up on the dyno.
