Hi all,

Our next event will be the club's Annual General Meeting, which will be combined with a now traditional BBQ.

We are working on the specifics for the event at the moment, however we wanted to give everyone as much notice as possible to mark this event in your calendars.

It will be taking place on Sunday the 25th of September, we will likely organise a short cruise in the morning to a location for a BBQ lunch, which will be followed by the AGM.

Not only is this a great excuse to get the MR2 out for a drive and free feed, if you are a financial member you can have a say in the running of the club and also elect to join the committee to help run the club going forward.

We hope to see as many people as possible there, after all, the club is run for the benefit of its members.

More details to come soon!

Hi all,

The AGM and BBQ will be held at the same location as our AGM last year:

When: Sunday 25th September

Where: Bayview Park, Pittwater Road, Bayview NSW 2104 (parking lot on King Edward Ave Boat ramp)

Time: Meet at 11:30am for BBQ, 1pm for AGM

We hope to get as many people along to the day to get an insight into the running of the club and to help decide our future direction.
Financial members of the club will be able to vote for committee members and elect to become committee members themselves; if you are not a financial member but would like to vote or join the committee you can sign up prior to the day or on the day itself.

A separate email has been sent out to current financial members with nomination and proxy forms and committee roles descriptions - if you are a financial member and do not receive a second email today please do let us know.

Lastly, the BBQ will be free for all that attend, so please let us know if you will be coming so we can cater for food and drink.

Thanks,
MR2 Club NSW Committee

For those heading down from Newy. Meet at Swansea Maccas to leave by 9.15ish.  Take the old Pac part of the way in the forecast good weather.

Maybe take the Kariong exit.  Have a quick stop at either Pie in the Sky or The Old Road Cafe if needed.  Google says this is 139km & 2 hours driving, so would get is there at the appropriate time.  Happy if someone else has another suggested route

Is there a wet weather plan? Rain is supposed to clear somewhat, so will still come down, but probably not via Old Pac.
