Thanks Dasic1, I did see the cap on your intercooler and thought that was a good setup, didn't realise you swapped it off the HE. How did you end up mounting the HE, with some made up brackets?
I did like the Type 100 better as it has more surface area, and I thought the flow from top to bottom would be better thanks to gravity (although the pump should do its job). I also didn't notice the Type 118 was a twin pass and therefore thought it wasn't as efficient.
My main concerns are whether the 2 types require cutting any of the body or bumper, and if the type 100 would hinder cooling of the radiator as it will cover more of the front area.
Sounds like the 118 is better as it is twin pass and takes up less front area, assuming I can fit a 2" thickness. Moving the inlet to the other side for the 100 is an option, but it's still a single pass so wouldn't the liquid spend less time in the HE, 12" vs 52"?
MCT_MR2, in terms of the EWP80 pump what size pipe did you use, as that pump fits hose 1-1/4" - 2". I am going to use 3/4" hose.
