Thanks IMR22C - I will check out what khanacross is about - sounds like dirt ??? and my son's car is a day2day registered car. (Mind you, when he gets his P's he won't be allowed to drive it - he will take my Camry and unfortunately I'll have to drive his for a couple of years....oh well, someone has to do it)
They can be ran as tarmac, dirt, or mixed events.
Khanacross or skidpan events would be good if he's learning to drive, and not just learning to drive faster.
My reasoning is that although Wakefield is a relatively safe track, it would be easy to get the speed up to a point where he could get himself in trouble.
It's also abit of travel depending where you're from.
I suppose it comes down to your situation.
