There's a couple of 2002 Calidinas also in that range.  They certainly look interesting.

The Aurions don't use much less fuel than a IS300 which is IMO a MUCH more appealing car.  Other than that there isn't much I like more than the IS other than I've got a nice engine I may use one day, but not likely.  And the $$ aren't enough less to make it worthwhile.

FWD - Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart!! Altho still hovering at 10k, maybe you can find a good deal somewhere. Fuel efficient and 4 seats! Otherwise Suzuki Swift getz rave handling reviews. Or just drop in a 4TFTE into the Starlet. Renault Clio another pocket rocket
AWD - Audi A4
RWD - perhaps an old 3 series beemer, 4 door skyrine

Or dare I say....VOLVO!!! 850 Turbo with 5 bangers. At least it'll sound like a lambo coming from a mile away hehe...

I really like the Volvo's, I was keen when I bought the evo but got shut-down by the 'boss'

Some good ideas there though.

Accord Euro luxury CL9. Manual preferred. Lots of factory gear (leather, HIDS, rain sensing wipers, seat warmers etc) & plenty of spare parts availability. Excellent K24 engine too & decent on fuel. Oversupply so a buyers market.

IS300 is a pretty good looking car.
