• Destination: Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit

• Details: The last time we had this opportunity to display our cars, the cars had to be left at the track from the Wednesday before the first day of F1 proceedings. The cars cannot be moved during the grandprix and could only be retrieved after the race had concluded on the Sunday.
  This event is free for our CAMS affiliated club and we are actually awarded with a free 4 Day General Admission pass, for each of the participating owners and one guest. 
• We are capping the cars attending at 10 vehicles. We would like to have at least 2 of each model generation present in standard and also modified form if possible. So 2x AW11, 2x SW20 and 2x ZZW30, with the final 4 cars open to anyone else in the club. 
• 

Now I know last time, we were all disappointed as the club was not able to attend due to some circumstances of miss-communication. I am happy to report that this time around our Expression of Interest has already been submitted extremely early and we are on track to have this happen!

Just a question regarding safety (for the cars), do people get real nice and close to the cars? I mean like really close, too close for comfort and have ill intentions (jealousy whatever etc)

Nope but be prepared for the seagulls that bomb each car over the 4 days as they fly over head... the cars get roped off and the security around the place will have a look at you if it doesn't look like you own any cars there. The Formula 1 tends to draw a more serious mature crowd. 

Shweet (not the birds!) do we get professional photo shoots ?

Is it only MR2s? Because my cousin wants to enter with his Honda Civic R.

UPDATE: I have now received the paperwork for entry to this event.

I will be sending out an email soon providing details on how we will be bumped in.

The final spot will be reserved for any ZZW30 owner still interested as we only have one spyder being represented atm.
 
Cutoff date for EOI is tomorrow with absolute cut off for signed entry forms Sunday 11:59PM.
