Gear linkage no longer

Scott
So I took the two out this morning and after about 1km I noticed I couldn't select a gear nor could I get out of the gear I was in (2nd). So after pulling a few things apart I have discovered a broken linkage (snapped on two) so can you get new ones of these (turbo model) or do I have to chase second hand ones?

Gatesys SW20
New ones would be a no go genuine as you would have to go to Japan as all turbos were imports
I work at toyota and spent the whole day today sourcing parts and going through them
Probably try twos r us for aftermarket new ones if not try a wrecker.

Gatesy,
I was thinking similar about the local Toyota dealers however second hand may only get me another cable tht is ready to break.

Scott, These cables are expensive items to buy new, and if you want a new one I found the cheapest source
was Lithia Toyota parts in the US, they give great service too. (about 1 week delivered to your door)

But the first thing to do is to get the correct part number for your model from Toyodiy, since there are several different length cables.
