Just pulled apart my bov as it was no longer functioning and found a broken spring in there, was hoping to get it working again before putting everything back together... Does anybody know of parts place / mechanics shop that might sell springs so I could see if they would work???! I have no idea what type of shop would stock springs so feeling a bit stumped!

What brand BOV is it?

Spring tension is pretty important in a bov I think if your going to try and find one that fits. Might be easier to just replace it with another one?

If it is a Greddy Type R or RS then I have a spring for it.

thanks for the quick replies... it's a synchronic bov so probably no parts here in aus unfortunately and want to be able to drive it in the mean time. If I can determine the spring rate correctly then all will be good in replacing it, just need to find a shop with a bit of a selection!

Hardware shops like Bunnings and Mitre10 often have a large selection of springs.
Try them, you might get lucky.

I have two bov springs, cant remember what they are off but if you give me the dimensions of the spring I can compare them, but im not to sure what rate they are,  They are 100% bov springs.
