Passenger side door window wont go back up - Motor mabye? It makes a clicking nose when pushed up, but the window doesnt go up.

Also the central locking when locked from drivers door doesn't lock the passenger door. However the passenger door locks both doors, im guessing this isn't normal? mabye some to do with the footwells?

Also looking for a new door seal !

Check that the passenger side window switch operates correctly.  If this is not working, it will also stop the drivers control from working :)

If you can find a local with a known working switch, just pop the plug out of yours and test their working switch. :)

If the clicking noise is more like a clunking noise of glass, it's probably a window regulator. About $220 brand new. Gatesys SW20 on here works for Toyota now, he might be able to get it good price. But yeh check that other thing first (use BGB to troubleshoot)
Our cars are getting old, I would suggest getting a remote central locking unit (with alarm) since the locking/door opening mechanism may soon **** itself. Worse case scenario you might end up being locked in the car and find yourself crawling out the other door, like I did!

Although it may not be your problem, check the wiring for continuity from the plug inside the body out to the window motor.
A common problem with SW20's is the wires break inside the flexible cover between the end of the door and the door post due to opening and shutting the doors over the years. Most common on the driver's side though.

How'd you go with this? I put up with no passenger window for almost 2 years before I finally pulled back all the wiring in my drivers door. Found 2 completely snapped wires and one that had split insulation.

Cut and re-soldered the wires with a bit of extra length so the soldered joints aren't flexing each time the door opens and closes.

Now both my windows work, along with the door lock / unlock button which only unlocked before the fix!

Definately worth the hour or two to fix properly!
