The 86 is white so you can keep it outside. Besides, you also have a few months before it arrives to build another garage/shelter.

I think you missed my point. KEEP the MR2, cancel the 86 and invest the $$$.
Whats the 86 gonna do that the MR2 cant? apart from being new.

Mate keep the car...your in the small group of people who have actually built a 300kw mr2!  Besides, how many girls do you want? last time i checked the mr2 had a passenger seat.

But if your hell bent on selling it, glws.

This is how I see things panning out if you sell the MR2:

- You'll see an SW20 turbo on the road that spanks your 86 silly
- You'll miss it & search for another oneday & lose money in the process OR waste a chunk of time daydreaming about it
- You'll spend some silly amount of money modifying the 86 to be nearly as fast as the MR2 (alternative)
- You'll sell the 86 in favour of a faster car that is once again, a LOT of money, putting your financial situation back 5 years.

I've owned my fair share of "fun" cars. I got in on the WRX late 90's/early 2K bandwagon, low volume import bliss, FWD confusion etc etc & I tell you now, there is nothing like my SW20. From the glorious 90's era of Japanese turbocharged 2L milk displacement engines. Extremely desirable when new. Beautiful looks. In some cases very respectable power. Will hold its own on the road. Entertaining handling which in true "performance car" fashion, requires both skill & respect.

As some would remember, I even came close to selling my MR2 a few times in favour of an FD RX7, but even then, I could foresee myself eventually missing the Deuce & seeking out another.

I'm sure a few people would happily see you sell up, but I'm in a good mood right now. I spend the past few weeks daily driving a 220awkw TME. Absolutely excellent car, but when I got back into my MR2, I was honestly happier.

Totally agree with what Jay said. If I had enough spare money I'd buy it back straight away.
As hard as it was to sell it, it enabled my wife and I to buy a lovely house.

p.S The 3sgte AW11 is pretty good though :)

**** jay... why do you have to be all perfectly reasonable and junk..
god dammit now i have to reconsider my plan..

truthfully the only reason i want to sell it is that i do not like the paint.
86 will have nice shiny paint.

i was planning on buying a used R35 after my 86 got boring and i could afford it.
