hey there robk - with your wheels (18"s) - on the rear end do you have camber pins installed as your rear wheels appear very upright
just asking as my lean is pretty obvious with 18"s

As far as you know is your suspension and camber setup still stock, and you just put the 18"s straight on?

*EDIT* My rims and fitment have changed since these posts.

all I can tell you is that any work done has been paid for/ completed by previous owner..
at this stage can tell you professionally lowered plus camber pins at front.
previous owner let tyre man play around with various wheels and offset before settling on current combination.
more investigation in very near future
i have only had car a few days .
but at this stage I much prefer your rims to mine
cheers

I am getting my act together and gradually getting parts for my engine upgrades.
I thought I may as well post some pics of the few parts I've got so far. I'll keep updating as progress is made.

Cam Tech cams, advertised durations 265 intake and 271 exhaust:

Fidanza adjustable cam gears:

Brian Crower valve springs and retainers:

My goal is to have at least 250kW at the wheels, maybe up to 280kW depending on how I do things.
It has taken me about 3 months longer than expected to make a start on this, because I've been debating which turbo to get.
Just when I thought I'd made a 'final' decision to go with the GT2871 turbo, I realised that I would probably end up wanting a bigger one down the track if I did that, so now I'll probably go with the advice of others and get a GT3071 or GT3076 turbo.
My main concern was excessive lag, but everyone with a GT30xx says it's not too bad, so I'll just see how it goes.

Dylan (Gorilla Industries) has been very helpful and has quoted me on some more parts, including Eagle Rods and CP pistons. I'm looking at getting one of Full-Race Motorsports' very nice exhaust manifolds too.

I plan to go for a A2W intercooler system with a boot mounted barrel, or in the engine bay if room permits. I discussed with my mechanic how/where we may be able to fit the 'radiator' for this system, and apart from the typical front-mount solution with coolant hoses along the length of the car, we also considered the possibility of having 2 separate smaller radiators, with one in each of the ducts on either side of the engine bay (the right one would be vacant with the stock IC removed, and the left one could be vacated somewhat by moving the air intake). My A2W IC plans are in no way finalised, and I haven't confirmed or purchased anything in that regard yet.

I can't wait til I have more progress to report here soon!

think hard about having heat exchangers in the engine bay, may as well just have 2 sidemount a2a coolers?

why is there an issue running to the front?

Looking forward to seeing the build on this. Goodluck!

About the IC, just go straight for TMIC or W2A. W2A was my pick as I didn't have to sacrifice anything (other than money of course).

I have a GT2871R Turbo with the .86 Housing. If you like I can take you for a run at the next meet up.

Yeah 2Hardtop told me that you have that turbo and he suggested that I have a ride in your car. If I haven't already purchased a GT30xx by the time the next meet comes around, I'll definitely take you up on that offer. I really just wanna buy some more bits though finally, so I may already have a turbo by then! lol
