Long long time reader, small time poster. I figured people would start seeing my car and wondered who owns it so I figured I'd make myself one of these thread things people follow.
 
I've had the car for a year now its a 1990 GTS Hardtop. Was Bryce's car for yonks then sold to Johnathon who did some stuff to it & well now I have it and i'm pretty savage with stuff so yeah prepare yourselves.
 
Bought the car rough as sh*t knowing it was a project. Yet it was suppose to be my daily as I had a crazy itb NA mx5 at the time. Lost my license for 6 months & wised up so I sold the mx5 and switched the mr2 over to my silly car as I've wanted one forever. Long story short P platers in NSW can't drive turbo mr2's because of me, so I waited until my fulls to buy one... Then instantly lost got in trouble in my other car lolllll. 
 
Anyway when I bought the car it hated going into gear, coilovers were rooted, steering was stuffed & it was just so eh. Turns out the turbo was stuffed also. 
 
Since purchasing the car I've made some changes power wise:
CT20B
Custom intake with 5" velocity stack
TCS Motorsports Intercooler kit
Gen 3 Injectors
Walbro 255
Apexi N1 exhaust
Ebay spaghetti manifold
Mamba wastegate
 
Makes 140kw @16psi on the saddest Dyno ever. 450nm of torque but. On the same dyno 200kw SR20's make like 250nm.
 
Completely rebuilt the steering rack with new genuine steering rack ends & bushes. Changed shift bushes to solid brass ones, changed short shifter setup around to suit me. 
 
Attempted to change rear brakes to the Rx8 sport kit but failed due to no hub centering ring so thats on hold.
Front brakes are Delta V brackets with R32 aluminium calipers & LS400 rotors. Intima SR pads front & rear.
Car has stuffed Bilstein EB9 Cockpit tuned 5/10kg coilovers that need a mad rebuild or I may replace with something equally good like KW V3 or custom Feal 441+'s. 
 
Done 2 track days so far in it. First day I did 3 hot laps and was suffering from mad heatsoak and could only do 1 hot lap every session. Did a 1:13.0 (wakefeild). 2nd track day was soaking wet and freezing, car was unpredictable and scary since I never drive the car in the wet so I had absolutely 0 confidence & didn't want to bin it or be hit so I did about 6 laps total all day lol. Car has a 1:10 in it the way it sits. Sidenote: The wing is for function eventually, I know I don't need one yet.

Oh and future plans:
Wider front end
Install my hoardings
Splitter setup with canards
Cut radiator support and duct radiator
Full weld in cage
New coils
Track it until explosion

Mate, looks a great result so far. 1:13 is a pretty fair time for that spec of car. Do like the colour and the look of it. 
Hopefully will see you at the track in before the end of 2018.

The car has a easy 1:10 in it. I was on a killer lap but some goof spun in front of me on the last turn and ruined it haha. I'm trying to get out as often as possible. Will be at Mr2 Challenge if the cars ready!
