I have been poking around numerous peoples build threads looking at what others have done to their cars to improve their handling dynamics.
 
I came across a US site that have a few suspension products aimed at the SW20 chassis and I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with their products and what they thought of it, as I was considering looking into getting this kit for my car.

I think that kit looks awesome, I've had my eye on it for a while! There are some really good discussions regarding suspension geometry that the owner of Wilhelm Raceworks contributes to and he definitely knows his stuff. I can't find a link off the top of my head but I came across it when researching what to do with some RCA's I used to have on the car.
 
If enough people are keen it could be worth setting up a group buy and save a little money, I'd be in for sure!

im pretty sure B24 from this forum would have some info as he had a few posts in the write up.

hopefully he can give his opinion on this kit.

The only thing i do not like is the lack of a keyway to stop movement of the rear toe drop link. Illegal to use on the road here (engineer would never pass that because it can come loose and move)

Yeah I was also looking at those rear toe drop links and thinking they looked like they would probably move if they were only relying on the tension of the bolts to lock them in place. That is possibly one thing that may cause problems.

Hey guys, Alex from Wilhelm Race Works here.  I just came across this thread via my google webmaster tools and figured I would comment on the tie rod bracket concerns.
 
While I can't do anything about the legal issues, I can say that I have been running my setup for years and repeatedly hit 1.2g+ lateral in track / autocross use, and the ONLY time I have ever had the brackets slip was when I physically hit something (a parking lot curb at an autocross).  I broke / bent a good number of other things in that incident, including two stock Toyota knuckles and one strut insert.
 
However, if it still was a concern you could always weld the bracket to the knuckle.  I would hope that this would get you by any inspection concerns as well.

I have used Alex's kit for a couple of years now, probably 2,000 hard track km and not a bother. I check everything before each track day and never had to retighten.

How've you found the kit handling wise? I'm seriously considering this as my next upgrade and would love to hear some local experience.

Great handling upgrade, car is very neutral. If you are satisfied with the theory of it all go for it, just remember there are infinite other areas in the suspension that will need tweaking to your driving style i.e. this kit is not a silver bullet
