+1 for diesel. If Holden opened their eyes and produced a diesel Commodore I would buy one in a heartbeat.

There will be one in a couple of years. FWD and a rebadged opel. Not so good for towing.

While I am at it. Steve has had almost two weeks rest since MTC2015. Have searched the site and can't find dates and details for MTC 2016 anywhere. Time to get going mate. You should be ready to cope with the stress again by now.

While I'm waiting patiently for details of MTC2016, i can appreciate that Steve has other things to catch up on... Like getting his own car going. I wish i lived closer so i could assist him in some way. It's a huge job that he does, organising MTC, and he does it pretty much by himself. I hope there are some people living closer that might be able to assist him organising next years event. I'm hoping to bring my partner next year as a volunteer to help out. I can't imagine how much time Steve spends on MTC each year, but i do really appreciate it, so if there's anything i can do to assist from here, i would be glad to help.

I own a Mercedes and I owned BMWs try to buy one around 10yrs old this is where best depreciation cycle is and normally one owner who cares for it. I give this advice as I worked for Mercedes and I sold BMW as well. Do not buy from a small car yard. They are normally the rejects from the main car yards which they will not put on there lots.
