No hesitation in saying I'll be there too!
We in S.A had an AWESOME time last time, and another day or two would make it even more worth the drive worth the drive!
I went around the week after coming home and there's a fair few people interested in going next year!
Hopefully we can have some non-Toyotas (blasphemy, I know, but some people I know don't drive them, but are super keen), and if so, I reckon we could manage an easy 6 people. I know Mike, myself, Luke and one or two of my friends are definitely wanting to go, but may even get a few more.
We'll see.
 
I have plans to do an engine swap this year. I'll effectively have a full Bathurst MR2 in a Gen 2 shell.
I also have plans to actually finish the event this time!
 
Reserve a spot for me! We'll see how many more we can muster to make the S.A side a force to be reckoned with!

I'm hoping to be able to go too, so that will be 1 more from SA. I haven't had any real track experience, but I'd like to give it a go.

I'm not out to set any records or do anything special (my SW20 is pretty much stock with road tyres), I just want to have a bit of fun in a safe legal environment. It's a 2000km drive for me to get there, but i think it'll be worth it. Not much opportunity to have any fun around here - the roads are all straight lol, and the nearest track is 800kms away.

Hi Rick, we all in S.A. here, will be some 4-6 cars heading over, you are more than welcome to meet up along the way & join our convoy.  Would be great to have another 2 join the pack.

Great to see you guys had such a great time and will be back in 2015. So glad I bit the bullet and made it happen!

Great to see you are coming on board. I think you will have just as much fun with the road trip as the trackdays. There are a number of people who have arrived then drive for the first time at the MR2 trackday so you will be fine.
Just don't get too carried away too early. The format allows you to ease into your driving with the use of smaller circuits and runs with minimal traffic for the first day. This will get you head around the car and whats going on. The second day is the full circuit with multicar events. Just check out the video's on youtube to see all the circuits and discipline's.  There are also a number of people who do the 2000km round trip, drive flat out and drive home. Even if there is a problem, everyone chips in to get the car back in order and get back home.
 
I have still yet to hear from Wakefield Park but it will be Sunday/Monday or Monday Tuesday so you can book in for a worst case scenario of Monday/Tuesday.

Good to hear Rick, there is plenty of positive energy over the two days which as much fun as the on track action.
Just need to have my car back together and running by September so it will 100% for the trackday. Would be great to actually drive it hard like everybody else has been doing the last two years.
