How do you tell if you have gen 3 LSD gearbox

Hi all
just wondering how do you tell if you have (95) gen 3 LSD gearbox .

If you look through the hole where your axle goes in, there's a (6-sided) 'hex' bar across the centre if you have a factory LSD e153 box.

hm ok thank s... so you cant tell from the housing ??
