thanks :)

Still not primed, but its pretty much there.

When its painted theres still alot to do on it... starting with;

- de-loom engine bay unless i wait till i drop motor
- re-wireing few things plus new wires for few things added
- new flex pipe to replace my damaged one
- lot of interior stuff
- fit my land cruiser brake master cylinder
- fit front strut brace, possably making custom rear one
- pulling off sump to get few bits welded on it, plus spray and re-seal
- re-do oil filter lines and oil cooler setup
- alot of detailing inc starting under the car
- fit engine lid 10" fan plus new IC shround and new 9" fan
- fit new ball joints and tie rod ends, wheel bearings ect

- buy clutch and flywheel, then fit my new gearbox!

- buy wheels and tyres!

When i have money to rebuild my motor, ill drop the motor and then spray the engine bay! And build the motor up, only stock/mild but all new pumps, seals, HG, belts, hoses ect, few stronger bits but only mild build

Awsome stuff mate. You got any pics new pics of the car? It sounds like its all coming together very nicely. Did the rear bar get re-molded? How did it turn out? can't wait to see this thing!

Yeah hes already cut and fixed the bar so it fits now, and i was down there yesterday and the fuel filler lid is on! opens out and it operates from the pull cord from inside! witch it quite rare on a widebody, as anyone thats attempted it knows that it seems easy until you try.

no recent pics apprt from the one few posts ago

dont get to excited, looks like theres a few issues with the fibreglass and paint when baking, so might need another $2,000 to fix and more time! so there goes my wheel money i was saving up for ages and ages, so even if i get car back i can't afford wheels (sold others also) let alont tyres, let alone clutch and flywheel so i can fit my new gearbox

Where are you located? Im about to get a bunch of work done on my car, shes getting an overhaul. Was thinking Queen St. Customs or Custom Body Works. Dunno if you know them, I just want to get the skirts flushed with the vent pieces, and the border addons flushed to that. Dunno if that will cost much, but i need lid, boot, rear bar, front and skirts all painted [:u]

Hey Brendan,

If you need a refund on a box man to help cover your paint issues let me know man. Its still at my place so it wouldn't be a complicated situation :D

Would have to give me a couple of weeks or so to sort out funds though, got bond to pay before I get my old bond back, so im pretty strapped for cash for a bit. I don't think I'd have too many issues selling the box on anyway.

If the moneys required mate, let me know!

Cheers,

James.
