Thanks Highlander.

Eveyone that give me grief are friends, so no doubt i give them grief thats for sure, just not on here

Yeah thought about bringing it up few times, long way to tow a car tho with no doors, windows ect, needs to be covered with tarp, or find an enclosed trailer to hire.

I wasn't being mean. I just selfishly want to see this car finished. I have met many guys that have big projects and never finish. I have a mate with a twin turbo 4L MGB with 700HP (engine has been dynoed) and he hasn't finished the car. He started in 1995

You all volunteering to come over and help me?

I would say Totenkopf is flying down to help me soon, altho i doubt it, more like just give me crap for everything ive done, make me re do everything ha ha ha, or tell me how ive wasted money and show me what open cockpit carbon monocoque i could have bought

Come on guys..... im not trying to build a stock car, i had one remember, and you can hardly say i haven't done anything in the last few years, i think its actually coming together ok.

Well its already at the point of no return, nothing factory left on the car, so i dont see a point wasting alot of time and money that i dont have to buy parts, temporary get it all working (wiring, plumbing, hardware ect) just to drive it, for how long? then remove it all, re do all the stuff i just did to then put in the other parts i have or need to buy.

Putting an engine in isnt that big of a deal, I have alot of the engine already, just need to buy parts for the head and get the head built, then assemble the block, but i suppose its all the million little things that add up to cost much more then the 'long block' ie exhausts, plumbing, wiring, sensors ect, but still not much is needed (money and effort from me to get things organized) to have a long block built and put in the car, then it would look like the cars almost finished, nearly ready to race, but the engine is the last thing i will be doing, dont want to have a brand new built motor just sitting around for ages, rather it go in fresh when almost ready to start up.

You all know that i get as much (or more?) out of the car buying parts and building it, the knowledge learnt from it ect then i would driving it.

I think I helped Brendan pull the engine out.. three + years ago :D  Then I remember doing something with a heat exchanger a couple of years ago, which is subsequently sold.. Now I've just given up :D

Yes, there is plenty of P0rn with this car but all the sensors to spot cars coming up from behind are not really needed for your applications. Such a great build but you have covered all the bases so just keep going and it will all be ready before you know it. To me, you are on the home straight so do not divert with more gear!
I am sure you know we all mean well as we all want to see you driving at the track sooner than later.

Even if you could get the car to a stage of all the panels installed, brakes, gearbox, you could bring it to MTC where you can put the car in the photoshoot. Getting it onto the track for the photoshoot will be quite easy.

Small updates, well i havent done much on the car lately, all i really have done was some scat tubing.

Small bilge blower fan installed under the dash (small, light, cheap, blows a lot of air and draws very little current, downsize is alot of noise!) then runs through a carbon fiber splitter (part of some used Nascar parts i got cheap) then few scat tubes around, just to blow some air on my / around the cabin / on some electronics.
