Well, I think I've managed to get the time off, so I've filled out the entry form :)

Hang on to that trophy Doug you deserve it. I feel the beams has an unfair advantage over a normal NA with a 30+ horse power advantage. It should be competing with the turbos and would have won that class. Looking forward to November.

Dodgee. I don't mind what the trophy was awarded for (probably just because I entered).
It stays with me!  I think Rick's pedalling might be where the advantage is.
But I'm running lightweight racing clutch fluid too.
That's more of an advantage than the Beams thingy.

I bought two bottles from a bloke couple years ago.
Bloody expensive at over $90 a bottle but well worth it.
Went back to get some more but he had already left the venue?

Hey Doug, you forgot to mention that you've lightened your car by removing the plastic cover in your frunk... that would have made a huge difference in performance :P

Possibly correct in stating the Beams gives me an unfair advantage, but Danti managed a quicker best time than me on Tuesday, and might have won the class if he'd been there both days. The Beams doesn't have anywhere near the maximum torque (or the spread of torque) that the turbos and V6's have. If you had to separate the 3SGE's based on power/generation, then you'd have to do the same with the turbos as the gen 3 has a substantial advantage over the gen 2.
It's interesting that i would have won the over 2 litre class lol
