A huge thanks to Peter Garrad, Sharon Caldwell, Cait Geysing & Aaron Knight for all their efforts organising and running the MR2 Wakefield Park Challenge. It was a fantastic event once again, and leaves me wanting more... also thanks to Anthony Oh for volunteering his time taking photos of the event. I'm waiting (im)patiently to see what are sure to be great shots from the event.
I'd also like to thank everyone who came from near and far for helping make the event so memorable. A great bunch of people with a shared passion.
I can't forget Steven Godfrey, who had the original vision that started it all.
Looking forward to the next one already!

Very well said as usual Rick. Another fantastic event...I couldn't miss it for the world!
Great catching up with my interstate family who all share the same passion as us SA guys. Can't wait until next event.
Thank you Pete, and the rest of the people for assisting with the event, and a huge thanks to Glen, Paul, Aaron and Kate for helping me out, delivering me my long awaited parts & a last minute delivery request which got me out of a little pickle & back racing again!

Great fun, great cars, and great people!

It was great to be back on the other side of the fence for MTC as a competitor. I noticed all the changes that were made in the organisation and running of the event which were all a great step forward from my 4 years of MTC. All those details of refinement have been instrumental in smoothing out the admin of the event where I was unable to. As expected there will always be something to touch up which can only make it better which I am sure Peter/Sharon/Aaron/Caite will cover in 2018. Congrates to Team MWPC! 
Seeing all the people again was a treat and to have the car running in a competitive reliable capacity was a relief. So looking forward to development in 2018. Have a new lease of life. Repaying a few friends with a drive of all this hard work was the most rewarding part of the weekend. Nothing beats smiles on peoples faces! 
See you all next time round.

It was great to see you having some fun laps out there in this car again.  Thanks for the kind words on the refinement.  As with all events, we learn things every time   as we get more comfortable in the role handed to us.  
 
Even tho i didn't get as many passenger rides this time, I still enjoyed the 2 days.  I have learnt that the 
Adrenalin rush has a big down a couple of hours later, so I thought it wise to not go there on Tuesday because of my 4 hour drive.

Looks like those of us who missed it the last couple of years have a lot of catching up to do
 
When's the next one? I'll be sure to have a working car and make it down next time!

Is there any chance someone could post a spreadsheet of the overall results please?

So when is the next WFP challenge? all ready for another round!
