I'm running a 2nd hand ct20b that dylan(gorilla industries) sourced, you can trust anything that he supplies & he has plenty of happy customers on mr2aus . I guess the reason you cant buy new ones would maybe be because they are a toyota designed turbo & most other manufacturers just source turbos from external companies eg: garret mitsubishi kkk

You can still buy the CT20b new from Toyota. Cost is roughly $2400 :)

i would definitely recommend getting a second hand ct20b from my own experience,  they are a fantastic upgrade for a gen 2, nice and responsive, and they seem to last forever.

i used one on a gen 2 with some other bolt on upgrades and made 192rwkws @ 18psi, it was such a fun car to drive!

Haha, I still haven't had a chance to install it, but hearing your experience again is giving me inspiration to get on with it!

The Blitz ECU however is going well

ok so now I have 20b installed but seems to be boost cutting @ 14psi.... i read somewhere that the map sensor was only used for the boost gauge and the boost cut... is this correct? doesn't have anything to do the the mapping on the ecu??

but yeah so far i think you were all right with the 20b... already twice as quick as it was before :D
