jdmr288, I named my exhaust in a previous reply. As is the case with just about all turbocharged cars (except the supercars of course), ditching the stock exhaust will give a significan't gain, even beyond the 3-7kw you mentioned. The simplest & least restrictive exhaust will perform the best, so duals aren't No.1, but they're generally good enough & sound/look a treat

ToyMota, I never was the only one in the 300rwkw club [(#)] I can confirm at least 5 other MR2's (maybe more) in the Sydney area alone that have recorded 300+rwkw. They're just not forum-active. Plus the others from around the country & handful knocking on heavens door

Totenkopf, I agree with your 30-40hp difference. My 312rwkw was a heatsoaked 60 degree plus IAT run (not to mention ignition breakdown). Testing we did with water pointed to a 320-330rwkw peak had I used a W2A setup. But as you said, in your case, we'll see. Don't jinx yourself by thinking too far ahead. If you make 340rwkw @ 20psi on 98 ron fuel with reasonable ignition timing, you're on the ball. About the drag racing bit, at these levels, it's not that driver related. Don't forget it's where 2steps & ecu based launch controls come into play, along with tyre/suspension setups.
Dylan, even if my car could break the sound barrier, I'd still be late [88] Don't forget Shane went back to black, his Supra literally ate the MR2.
Won, the inner white boy in Shane isn't coming out, that was just him smiling & showing his teeth

lol
