How will you tie the semi's to the car when heading north for the trackday?
I like it mad man.

I have to move it slightly and centre it beneath the wheel! Nah, hopefully by then I'll have a more permanent arrangement.

The past 2 months have been a busy time with upgrades on the car, I have completely replaced the fuel system including the pump, fuel lines, fuel rail, fuel flex sensor, fuel pressure regulator and injectors. I also fitted a good sized oil cooler in the stock intercooler location. All this a fair bit of work for somebody with my fairly limited capabilities but it all worked out fine in the end and io haven’t blown myself up. My good friend the cookiemonster on this forum helped me along the way, he is a real smart cookie!
The other significant upgrade was the air to water intercooler system. This works a treat and I have been really happy with how it performs.
I also decided to go for a Link G4+ ECU. After I gutted the factory ECU box this slotted straight in with no modifications to wiring etc and it ran pretty well and got me as far as the tuner. It’s a good way to go if you want plug and play without the hassle with wiring or adaptor harness
Next job is to convert the ignition to coil on plug and then the switch over to E85.
The otherwise stock engine and turbo made 173 rwkw. During tuning there was an issue with boost control which I have since established is associated with the boost controller so I need to get a replacement before any more tuning. I’ll hopefully have it all sorted and back on the race track by the end of the month.

I like the 'cooler solution.

Its very rewarding to look at this kind of work when you've completed it all yourself, good work.

Yes it was a lot of hard work. I cant take all the credit for the intercooling though, a fabricator did a fair bit of. Wish my skills were that good.
