Hey Rds!

Unbelievably awesome pics of your car, when are you going to show me how to take pics like that?
We'll have to catch up soon. Take me for a ride in it, finally got the parts for my car (sticks like glue, even though the tires are plastic), I'll have to take you for a run

Cheers

ey matty!

yeah mang, take me for another hoon.. those mx5's hammer like all freak! :) you probably wouldn't want to hop in the '2 afterwards though.. its the CX-9 of mazda's in comparison. <_<
see, after 340,000kays the engine might just still be limping on, but decade old shocks and bushes fail.. so... hard. :p
im still really keen to get it all fixed up and replaced, (springs, shocks, swaybars, brakes, motor, clutch, gearbox etc) but am thinking of waiting out this summer until autumn/winter next year when the weather gets poo poo again, so i can enjoy it now. i dunno...
either way. oldskool photo of the good times. :)

Hahaha....definitely, just do the suspension work yourself, shouldn't take you too long, it took me all of 1hr to put my new gear in, 4 bolts for the strut brace, 6 for each swaybar and a little bit of blood/swearing. Swaybars made an incredible difference, go down to repco and get them!!!!

My brother just got sways on his 2 and he's happy, cost around $500 I think.

Lol, at the old days, where's the smoke from my brakes? Lol

Stunning pictures! Those SSR MK3's look awesome, do you have any pictures with the fronts on?

thanks. :)

but nah, no pics with them all on as they dont clear my brakes (mainly front) by a couple mm. i cant really be bothered getting them to fit, so moving them on i suppose... :( not that im in a hurry to get rid of them, but itd be nice to free up the dollars in them ready for the next set of whatevers.
as of this second, im really keen on hunting down some Super Silhouette-series (group 5?) style racing wheels.. with the covers n whatnot. :p

something like this:

i reckon they have to be 16's on a very low mr2 to pull it off though. :S
also nice period rims in that racing style would be oversized tight mesh. leaves me back wanting more SSR reverse/formula meshes...!

...and id still love another set of wats (in 15s though!). :)

bloody wheels. :p

ah, n one pic i forgot:

under frunk area. i practically have no spare; as even if i get a flat, theres no way in hell im mounting that wheel on my car... :p
