Gatesys SW20
Hi guys,
looking out for a set of bucket seats sparco/recaro/cobra style
cheap as possible, but want to keep my car roadworthy, and need some obviously ADR approved
anyone selling/know a place to buy some for cheap?
dont want to spend more than 600$ for the two seats,
cheaper the better, as saving my cash for the new engine

Getting ADR approved seats is fairly easy (although a new pair for $600 does limit your options). Finding ADR approved rails that bolt in is the really difficult part. Only ones I've seen are some of the high end Jap brands, and they're quite rare.

the plan with the bolt on rails
was have my engineer friend fabricate some brackets, and have him certify and mod plate it for cheap,
but i was after some rails, aswell, but thats another pain to look for, so im starting with seats that looking for rails
yeah 600$ does limit, but happy to buy used seats, just trying to find them is the hard part
i know a guy who does alot of targa tasmanias and does my suspension work here in newcastle who sells cobra seats, adr approved for 360$  a seat, but there not all that light, and was more looking for fixed back to cut the weight, as im only the person who drives it regularly, and dont mind lossing reclinability,

Just seeing if people here know of anywhere?
or may have some for sale.

My best bet is if you want that you need to up your budget or wait until the right seats come along for sale but that can take awhile or do it one at a time so do driver side then passenger side later, when money permits.

I can only think of used seats is your best bet. But with SW20 you really need to test fit the seats with the right rails in the car to see if there enough clearance for a helmet.
