Stance looks flush as! Don't know why you want another 5mm out of it!

Take a pic of the rear wheels from directly above so we can see the true stance.

Purple5ive: You sound suprised? lol?

Sw20_3sge: The paint is ok - it by no means is a show stopping award winner, but compared to what it was it will do - if I was to change it I would buff it back to shine more, but little imperfections I missed would show - for now, (imo) its fine for what it is...a fun daily.

Surok: I would rather not, all I did was grind a small bit of the strut away maybe 1-2mm at the most. I would suggest if going 8" just get a 30 offset and you will be fine....or just test fit on to save any future dramas. Only ground them slightly - this car doesn't see much hard driving so wasn't to worried.

MR2QIK: It will be copping tint but not much more lights I think are a bit much (cost wise) -  and would be worried about scratching the front lip with day to day driving.

Midnit3: I'm guessing my email didnt go through....Many thanks again for the vent! It went in within minutes of it arriving in the post - you must be an expert as most the clips were still intact!

mr2ns: Thanks, I was a bit worried about the different in sizing - some cars cant pull off that look (often makes car look cheap) - I guess an MR2 can?

Dylmrt: will throw a picture up later - and one of the front to compare it to.
I just want it to sit more like the front, but after driving it - I think I will reconsider that.

on a normal 3SGE whats the fuel economy....Dont know if its because I have a heavy foot but constantly getting no better then 14.5L/100km....

well not suprised but happy that someone got it right
lots went out and bought wheels without checking first what the best fit and size, out of them many didnt get the flush fit (not that its needed for the rims to fit or car to drive rproperly) but def makes it look better.

i find that 8 and 9 width with a 30 or 35 offset makes the sw20 look nice

I see - thanks!
Your car was the main reason when i saw these I wanted the double stagger set up!

Not really an update per say....

Rolled guards as much as I could and wheels still scrubbed (see below)

I didnt know it was actually this bad!
What it should look like!

Raised it up a little on the rear and dont think looks much difference (sorry about stupid angle)

Wheels look great, as does the car, massive improvement, well done!!

Re fuel economy, sounds quite bad, even for an auto.  Are you mainly doing short trips (5km or so), this often kills economy.

I used to get around 9-10litres/100km in my first SW20 Turbo, most trips 20-30km long with a mix of suburban, and 80km main roads.  Long trips mid 8s.

Dunno why you're complaing about stance Chase_d! they look spot on to me!

*EDIT* In terms of stance, not the tyre rubbing...

kameleon
you need to remove the screws that hold the rub strips in place and the plastic inserts that are fitted inside the metal tabs, then roll/massage those back and then you will not gouge your tyres.
