Saturday 25 August 2012 Roll Call
 
Saturday the 25th of August sees the Queensland Club crossing the border and heading into New South Wales - and we'll be in stealth mode and not taking our passports with us!!
 
Because the year is going so quickly we want to get into a cross-border Run before the dreaded Daylight Saving starts again (is it nearly that time already??), so before the curtains start to fade again from too much sunlight and everyone who lives in Tweed Heads but works in Coolangatta gets very confused, we're going to traverse the twisty back roads down to Kyogle and across to Murwillumbah.
 
Start point will again be the Oxley MacDonalds and gathering time will be 9.00am for a 9.30am departure. We will be going cross country for lunch at Kyogle (the Run Manager has found some new roads) and then head off for places east. This will be a good chance to blow the cobwebs out if you haven't been on a Run for a while or just catch up on who has had what work done to their car.

Will this be a two day event? If it is I should be able to at least do the run to kyogle and then back.

Eric, its a single day Run. We never go over the speed limit, but having said that, we don't muck around either!  
 
Hope your car is ready, its a great set of roads and should be a tremendous day out.

Oh thats great! Very excited, I do need some more hours for my logbook ;)

Still have to come and get my AW sitting on the Goldie might try and work it in for this weekend? Do a run with you guys on saturday and back to Sydney on Sunday?

Sorry guys but will not be able to join you this time, will be at 30 000 ft coming back from a business meeting in Perth - bugger, but next month is already in the diary for Stanthorpe

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend this run. I got myself a new job and now work every Saturday. On the upside, I can now buy nice things for the SW20.

there's no reason why your Dad couldn't bring the car. Come on, let him have the keys.
We will miss you and I was going to bring my new Lumix Z50 to show off. However, I suppose we can excuse you IF you promise that your pay will be spent on the car, the whole car, and nothing but the car.
I will send you a Run Sheet so you can give it to your Dad.
