Hi Guys,
I'm new to the MR2 thing. Bought one yesterday! 1990 SW20. Always wanted one and finally got the spare cash to get one! Unfortunately I can't make it this Sunday (my daughters 2nd birthday) but I'm keen to make some contacts in the MR2 world and maybe meet up and discuss things. I have lots and lots of questions. I live in the Chermside area. Happy to pay the $20 and sign up. How often do you do these things?

Hi, I just wanted to add to Dennis's welcome and say that if you can't make this coming Sunday we hope you can get along for the Christmas Run, which is on Sunday the 9th of December.
Please PM me with your details and we'll make sure you are kept in the loop. Also, look out for the photos after this coming Sunda to see what you missed.
It's a great Club, no politics, and we all love these cars. We also have a couple of members, Dennis and Scope, who are qualified mechanics, and have forgotten more than other people know about these machines.
Looking forward to catching up.
Best regards,
Walter

Dean,
apologies for you being overlooked in the list earlier. I can only think that it happened because your post was immediately followed by Scz (Simon) who now lives in NSW and this probably confused everyone (Scz was a real loss to the Club when he moved down to Newcastle).
I also wanted to welcome you along and we look forward to catching up. I have added you to the list and will send you out a PM with the Run Sheet attached.
Best regards,
Walter

Dom,
the only thing good about the "good ole days" that we all reminisce about is that we made it through them.
A funny but true saying I heard about the "good ole days" was that anyone who wishes they were there never experienced the plumbing!
The other saying I like, having gone through the whole 1960's thing, is that if you can remember the 60's you weren't there.
I often wonder what it would be like now if we still had the "good ole days" with no internet, no mobile phones, no microwave ovens, no A/C in cars or houses, no EPERB's (look that up), men only lived to an average age of 60, and there was a World War on.
All good fun.
Walter
