The starlet ran a pb of 11.55
He seems a pretty decent guy, spent most off the time during the runs talking to him. He was pretty conferdent that I should have run a twelve. Just have to wait till next time now

his been around for years.. I remember him running stock rims to a dyno day and we had a few guys sitting on the car to keep it down.

The rings probably failed due to a combination of age, ignition timing & intake temp. Looks like it was a hot day & your runs weren't very far apart either (was probably still heatsoaked as your mentioned). With forged pistons, 264 cams, valvesprings & a nice IC system, I'm quite confident you'll have a chance of getting near an 11 with a good 60 footer.

With roughly your 13 flat @ 110mph and 60 footers over the 2sec mark, you'd have trapped at around 108mph with an ET of roughly 12.7 with a cleaner pass. Which sounds about right for the power you were making.

robk just means I can build something stronger now. I knew something would happen and had planed to start building a new motor to swap over for when it did, just got lazy

kameleon trying to work out exactly what parts I want/need. First thing I need to do now is get a 5s block/crank to get it cheeked out. If I need a new crank from Toyota will take about 3 weeks
