Wow, looks great.

Cool time lapse vid too!  I would put the chassis stands in place whenever getting under the car though, cheap insurance in case something happens.

Cheers

I also pick up a GoPro camera so decided to test it out

Loved your 9:44minute clip ('cept the last couple of seconds when I thought you'd lost it off the stands) and would like some more info on the GoPro camera.  What model? Where did you get it? etc. etc.

yeah should always use jack stands safety has never been my strong point.
Everyone comments on the last bit, the legs on the engine crane just always seam to get in the way. The nite before I took the spare engine off the pallet I could only put one of the legs down so im try to balance off the back. Haha I should of filmed that

Its the hero2 version and I just got it straight from there site. Its the motorsport one but there all the same camera just comes with different mounts. I havent really used it that much.

Its just that extra piece of mind, I know when I get under any car I will use the following:

2 Car Stands, a pair of Scissor Jacks just behind the car stands (just in case, there is basically no weight resting on them), 2 hydrolic jacks on the suspension components and 1 rim under each edge of the car lol.

Congrates on the build. Looks like a lot of work and passion which is where its at.
Have you sorted the misfire? I found with the coil over plug, you need to bolt the units down as they do jump out when under load. This sorted the misfire issues I was having. Do you have a link for the crank angle sensor?

Hope to see you at the Hopwood 100 in 2013 with your HQ. Its on the Saturday of the Wakefield 300 weekend.

like the innovate mounts, is black the 75a? I have some 85a on there way to me  but yeah wont be street driving, would be interesting to see what the diff is!

yeah +1 for bolting the coils down. I have aluminium posts welded onto my cover with a M6 thread, and have M6 studs that i can lock tite in, and then nut on that to hold coil on, that way im undoing steel nut from steel stud, not always in the aluminium.
If anyone is interested, to borrow, my welder/machinist made a ring/spacer up on the lathe that sits inside the spark plug boot hole in the gen2 cover (dunno if gen 3 is the same ID) and the coil (1zz) will center in that, so you can mark were you want the post for the coil, saves holding the coil inside the hole all loose

Is that the racerx crank kit? I have one, but the sensor is black, just a cherry hall sensor, i have alot of specs of the sensor if your intrested steve?
