MR2 Run - Sunday 21st April 2013 - Go West Young Person (the real quote was "Young Man" but political correctness has struck the Forum).
With Dennis about to be lost in the wilds of Tasmania and Knightrous defending the honour of the MR2 Club in competition the rest of us will just have to make do with a Run on Sunday the 21st of April.
However, this Run, being close to ANZAC Day, will have something for everyone, and with the next two monthly activities being either at night or a display we have decided to give the April Run a bit of everything.
So, if you like twisty roads, straight roads, in-between roads, strange little towns where banjo playing is popular and the movie Deliverance might have been made, combat aircraft, photo opportunities with combat aircraft, industrial estates, suburbia, places MR2's have never been before, and just some very steep hills, then make sure you put your name on the Roll Call below to receive the Run Sheet.
We will be starting from the BP Service Station at Brassall on the Warrego Highway just before the Fernvale/Esk turnoff. The meeting time is 9.00am for a 9.30am departure, and we can expect to be back into Brisbane at about 3.30pm. Cake for morning tea will be provided as per usual (BYO tea and coffee).
The recon for this Run has already been done and it should prove to be one of the best this year. Hope to see you there.
