Ok, enough teasing the old guys. Next you'll be telling the Irish joke for St Patrick's Day about the Irishman who missed the running of the race so bet on the outcome of the replay.

If the Stone Age was VCR's, then when the dinosaurs were around in the Jurassic I can remember my dad getting the first black and white TV in the neighbourhood in 1956. It wasn't just any old TV, it was a 24 inch (whatever that is in new measurement) AWA Radiola, it was delivered on a Tuesday night, and on the following Saturday we must have had upwards of 30 neighbours in the loungeroom watching it. Sort of like living in Kingaroy now.

Sorry you won't be able to make the Run. We did an extensive recce yesterday and the Run is about 220kms. Some great new roads were found, and you know it is going to be fun when you see the sign at the start of a hill saying "Not suitable for large vehicles, caravans or semi-trailers."
With the track day you are planning on going to in April we probably won't see you until May as our April Run is on Sunday the 21st.

Its also the F1 GP that day. If the club run is looking like being the whole day, I will be turning around a little early and heading back home i am afraid.....
Sorry, my car is getting a few upgrades dropped in it this month in preparation for next months trackday, so I'll be skipping this cruise (The road up Mt Barney is pretty awesome BTW).
However, about 35-40 years ago (in the stone ages), there was a device created that was able to record TV onto a tape like device and I believe now they even have them recording to some other outdated media like DVD's and Hard Drives
