The attention to detail & workmanship here is brilliant. Love it! What heat exchanger do you use?

Its pretty much tucked in thats why i got the Supra TT bottle for its skinny shape.

The carpet might rest up on it tho.

As i havent got much time working on castings i thought i would just CNC some of my parts.

This is the next one an elbow out of the Rotrex. Great thing about it done on the 5-axis is how accurate it is and the flow is so smooth

So all of the inside is machined and most of the outside.

Now its taken of and remounted so the outside can be finished.
The tab to hold the billet then will be machined down and a hole tapped for an air sender.

You can see the little grove at the joint to the Rotrex for a welding trough. Thats why i machined the Rotrex outlet .

I can then turn the elbow to the direction i want and weld it in place

So effectively i do have a kit available know as i wont have to make anything.

Bracket
idler
elbow
customize the Rotrex housing and V-band

Entry for the temperature sender. Ill have one also on the intake to the Rotrex also.

So 3 in total. air intake, after compressor then after Intercooler. This way i can monitor effectiveness of the intercooler and also temp rises from the compression.

Piece is finish :) As i said taped a 14mm thread for another temp sender for after the SC where the holding lug was to CNC the part

This is what it looks like in place and weld it together once i get the exact location for the air intake end tank

It was necessary for clearance but the shop negotiated on this part as the machinist did the drawing own his spare time and asked the owner that he wanted to do it to get more experience on flowing parts so as they could get into porting heads. It was $200 plus the aluminium block.
The SC bracket was $1800 and the SC was whole sale which i cant disclose.

But ill also recover some $ when i sell the other bits and Drawings to a Japanese firm :)
