TO DO LIST:- Finish Flares and cutting wheel arches - 3 out of 4 completed...- Service whole car (fluids, filters etc etc) - Oils and filters ready, will do change Sunday night @ wakefield.- Mount Oil cooler, make hoses, fit adapter- Wire up gauges and senders- Swap street tires to steelies, semi's to grids- Weld up new seat rails and fit bucket seat- Get wheel alignment- Fit front & rear braided lines and bleed brakes- Mount ECU properly to firewall- Fix ignition coil issues- Swap over both rear tie rod from SkidDub - TrackDub's are both pretty shagged by the looks of it. Will make new ones on the return from MTC- Fit new B pipe, weld up exhaust and fix two broken studs.- Fix up air scoop with new base seal and reconnect intake pipe- Setup Launch Control and Flat Shift - Where is that damn clutch switch.... Started tackling the rear flares this afternoon and it turned out to be more of a challenge then originally though. 
I've done some welding of thin metals before with a stick welder and was confident I could get the tack welds in place that are required to join the inner guard to the outer skin when you cut them.
After barely tacking some 3" of guard inbetween blowing holes in it, I got desperate.... This serves as purely a thing of what not to do...

As ugly and horrible as it looks/is, it is mechanically good and just as strong as a weld.I then coped a massive coating of seam sealer to keep the weather out and hide the **** job that was done and the flare was refitted.
