Powercruise sounds good. We have one at Eastern Creek but a lot of cars and not much track time. I'm sure your car will raise some heads at your Powercruise.
Its a nice amount of power you are looking for. Should be pretty handy. Look forward to seeing it sometime.
Maybe you could fit a undertray to the trackdub? Will help with times.

hi there,
great read and great car :)
did you have a chance to fit your flares yet?
Ive just bought a set of carbon zg flares, and just hoping for some tips before getting the grinder out.
found a good how to guide online but its not for an aw11,
any advice would be grateful,
Cheers

Unfortunately my time with the car lately has roughly been as long as it takes to wash the tree leaves off with the garden hose. I'm hoping to have a bit of a DIY guide on this in the next month or two.

Certainly looks like Knightrous house! Turbo looks pretty good.
Have you thought of relocating the battery to the front? Seems like a lot of heat next to a volatile battery.

I've considered a shift of the battery to the front, but I'm not a fan of having to run 6ft of wire to the front and extra weight of running sufficient sized cable to prevent voltage drop during cranking. My plan is next year to shift the ECU and fuse boxes into the cabin and mount them on the firewall and I will then shift the battery into the cabin as well and mount it behind the passenger seat in a race box. This way I get most of the advantages of shifting the battery but can keep the short 0 gauge wires I already run.

So much has been done to this car yet I've done nothing to mine LOL

If Knightrous has the House of AW11 in Australia then the picture must be of the Palace of AW11 in the UK. It would be great just to wander through the place.

I'm not sure about leaving it for that long. The weight and cranking would be a minimal loss but after seeing what was left of the plastic in my engine bay after running a high mount turbo, there is no way I would leave the battery that close to the turbo. Very risky move.
There is a VW battery which is located under the passenger seat. It looks like a low, flat unit which would fit under the passenger seat of your car. More than likely a dry cell battery. Could be a good option.
Are you taking this car to MTC or the NA?
