How'd the new suspension n brakes go anyway? Take much getting used to?

@Maj: Ah, indeed. They are quite nice, pattern isn't my kinda thing, but good enough for track. They are 5.81Kg each though, which is close to the same as the XXR 531's, which are half the price.

@5SGTE: Suspension was good, need more camber in the rear though, when driving it hard I was getting the outside edge of the tire about 20'c hotter. May still go stiffer in the spring department, thinking I might step up to 4kg/8kg, which will make it a more harsher for the street, but I think I can deal with it. Have to adjust the front struts a bit as I have taken a little too much travel out of the suspension, found it bottomed out a few times too easily on the way home, but it's easily fixed though.
Brakes were very nice, they certainly pull the car up a lot faster then the old ones and I found myself braking later and later and still pulling up short. The only problem is the stock brake master cylinder is too small and I have a soft pedal for the first 1.5" of pedal travel, so it's really hard to get consistency out of the brakes when the first 1.5" of travel does very little braking. I think this attributed to a few turn 2 sideways entries. I'll fix this problem by installing a RN130 Hilux 1" Master cylinder.

BMC stopper\brace?
Bigger BMC won't help if the metal the booster is attached to actually flexes.

What cambers are you running front and rear?
Yeah, the 3kg fronts is a bit too soft for track.

The problem is the BMC, it's just too small to shift the volume of fluid required for the new brakes.
The fire wall isn't flexing, I've checked this out and even fitted my spare Cusco BMC brace, it made ZERO difference to the brake pedal feel.
Camber is 2.5 front, 0.5 rear (max I can get in the rear unfortunately), currently designing up my own camber tops to solve this.

Ahh, got ya. So it was the new calipers that requires the uprated BMC.

As for the rear cambers, what about camber bolts? up to 2 degree camber could be possible after that?

Yeah, ST185 twin pot front calipers and SW20 22V rear calipers have increased the fluid required.
I've camber bolts in the front and I'm not a big fan of them, simply because they reduce the bolt size down to just 8mm. I've wanted to avoid camber tops as the roads out here are rough and I just don't see the bearings in the tops lasting too long, so I'm currently looking at making my own with spherical bearings that I can source easily and for an affordable price, so I can afford to put a new set of bearings into the tops each year without spending $250+. This will complete my desire for more camber and I'll be able to easily set the camber between street and track without much effort :)
