Got a little more done today... starting to look like an engine again.

Just waiting on a flywheel which got held up thru E-go, and a manifold flange (thanks Knightrous), Oh and a sandwich plate, which sits behind the flywheel - let me know if anyone has one, looks though it was missing, or I've miss placed it somewhere :-(

Plans if all goes well, should be up & running by end of Nov ;-)

Ok, quick update:

Got a 'sandwich plate' in the end, installed machined flywheel, new exedy clutch plate & throw out bearing.

I had to source a spacer exhaust flange otherwise the aftermarket extractors were failing on the starter motor. The extra flange gave it an 8mm clearance gap ;-)

Engine complete with gearbox, just need to have the body harness loom slightly altered to suit the 4age smallport engine & its ready for installation.

Not long now and it will be running mate, bringing it to WP in January?

Little more progress yesterday,

Out with the old radiator hoses, in with the new!

A quick mock up to pressure test the radiator before its install.

Just to finish up hooking up hoses, adding & bleeding fluids, finishing wiring (not me thankfully) & give it a crank over :-)

The Wiring nightmare begins.. This one is a little more complicated as I want everything to function correctly as it will be a road registered car, unlike my track aw11's with smallports you can remove a lot of junk / wiring as its not required.

Small update: mechanically all finished, just gotta get the air re-gassed, take down to local exhaust shop for some slight pipe fabrication & it should be already to start the run in process!
Thanks to my mate 'Rob' who did all the wiring conversion and assist throughout the whole process 😉.
Once it comes back from the exhaust shop, a full interior / exterior detail & it should be sweet!
