Had a visit to the machinist yesterday. It was good to see the heads and bottom end completed, bagged up ready to go. Still have a few little things to do, but will be doing the final assembly in a week or two.
This weekend is the dash and ecu mounting plates.

A little bit of news on the car. Its coming together with time. It is almost ready for the rewire with all the ecu,dash and power system fitted. Engine is very close but the gearbox is now the delay but will be worked on this week. The seat has been lifted 20mm which has helped a lot. It has also been moved closer to the centre of the car and improved on the distance for pedals and wheel. Steering was also adjusted so it is closer to the centre of the seat. Fuel system is ready too. Still, there is never enough time or enough jobs to do, but the end is now in sight. MTC 2016? As long as it doesn't blow up , all good!

I heard a rumour that you had a TRD supercharged 2GR motor in the back of your VW Transporter van. Now that sounds like a recipe  for quickly earning licence demerits.
 
Was a bit disappointed to find that it wasn't a conversion project but just being transported in the van to Melbourne.

If it was, I would be a triathlete!

I wish you all the best here buddy, but I think you need a nice street MR2 aswell. Would help keep you motivated & off the cakes :)
