The new wing stays are fitted and happy with the result.
The wastegate is also fitted with a 50mm screamer exiting at the rear of the car next to the muffler. It now has v clamps throughout the exhaust. Just need to fit some braces to complete the package. all the exhaust has been re-wrapped after the last lot was destroyed at the Wakefield 300.
The water tank is now secured with water injection up and running.
The new 600mm x 300mm intercooler is now mounted in the boot with piping completed. the alloy duct for the air intake has been fitted with the intake pipes and naca ducts to be fitted next.
There are now 3" brake duct lines taking high pressure from the rear wheel arches then exiting out the rear of the car to help with settling the car at high speed ( I mean, its simply flying in the garage 90% of the time..). The front end will be addressed in due time.
The wiring is pretty much done but still not happy with it but it will do. Just too heavy and a little too untidy in area's. It is a lot better than before but could still do with more refinements which may happen next year. One option is to fit 1 amp solid state relays for the DL1/ECU.
The dash is now working with one switch needing replacement after I damaged it. Other wise all ok. The DL1 is also communicating correctly and ECU was also tested for problems which is also working fine.
So its getting there but still needs more time to be ready for an outing.

Here is the undertray. It provides plenty of airflow in the engine bay but it adds a lot of weight being alloy.

Looking good.

Were did you get the wing from?

I picked it up via 'gumtree'. Just a fluke really. Cost about $180
The wing stays were made up by a local engineer then fitted by myself. Took about two beers to complete.

Pat,
I will add some more over the next few weeks. I need a cover made up to reduce the air flow at the rear wing. Not sure if it will make a difference, but that's the plan.
This is how it currently stands.

I spent a few hours on the wiring yesterday. Its almost there but it will be change yet again as I don't like the switch layout or the mess behind it. The existing switch panel will change but unlikely before the trackday challenge. As long as its reliable, its the way it will run for the time being.
Also sorted the air lock in the water injection so its all working fine.
The old Blitz boost gauge has been removed.
Naca ducts are on their way.
Will be working on it every afternoon unit all the boxes are ticked.

The tank is ready to be removed tomorrow night. Just need to replace the pump wire with something substantial as the existing wire is too small.
I had to remove the undertray which will now be replaced with another lighter and stronger product.
Also relocated and replaced the power cable for the starter motor. Have wanted to do this one for some time now and it done. It now runs along the bottom edge of the tunnel then through a new hole below the engine bay harness, through the air box then onto the starter motor.
Getting close now

The car is almost ready now. Spent plenty of time over the weekend with the end clearly insight.
The tank has the new wiring and the seat has a new mounting which is 20mm higher. Still 50mm head clearance.
Also moved the seat back by 40mm which has improved leg room.
There are a dozen other bits completed too but will not bother with details.
Also discovered my rear bar is a genuine TOMS SW20 rear bar. What are they worth? Im thinking of taking the whole kit off before I destroy it! All DuLuck/Pheonix and Toms.

Here is a pic of the seating now and the intercooler set up.

Well, its back up and running and will be at Hitman's workshop on Monday for its inspection and tune.
I have finally taken Jason's advise and will be getting it tuned through his tuner.
Still have some work to do before I deliver it on the Monday, but its getting a lot closer to completion.
The gearbox cooler is installed, oil topped up, all plumbing is completed, spanner check done, wiring is complete with everything working, water injection has been sorted, its actually of the stands for the first time in months. Forgot how damn low it is..
The intercooler scoop, ducting, naca ducts has been completed, but need to finish the mounting of the boot.
Also need to make a fiberglass boot, undertray and mods to the front splitter. Hopefully it will be sorted by the time MTC2014 comes around.
Nice to have a very short list for a change with December 6th in my sights as my next trackday. Its the GP circuit so I can see how it is after my last session there a year ago. 1:48 was the old time so would be nice to see a few seconds shaved off it.
