What ratios did you end up switching around between the Camry and MR2 boxes?

Congrats Steve. Exactly the kinda numbers I forecasted. Take it easy on that fresh motor though. It can't be run in properly yet. There's a lot of different opinions re run in, but I'm honestly not a believer in pumping a fair amount of boost through it in its early life. Tristan did the same with one of his engines & paid the price later down the track.

Thanks Jay,
Was a long time coming but finally made it. The tuner did spend a lot of time with the car on the dyno and stated it was comlpetely OK to have a go but I didnt go over 6k with most running at 5k. Im expecting to do 1k maximum a year so if it lasts 5k, I had a pretty amazing 5 years of driving. Still, Im very happy with the figures based on the fuel and rpm.

I used MR2 1st and 2nd with Camry V6 3rd,4th,5th. One of the forum members from Qld was very helpful with setting the box up. It also has a 4.5 final drive.

Im working on driving Wakefield Park on Sunday. As long as everything is sorted, I will be there at 8 am.
Here is some footage from its return to the track from last week. The picture in picture is from a different session but it works to a point.

I assume the 4.5 diff is from a RAV4?
Did you have to use the output shaft from the RAV4 gearbox or does the 4.5 crown mate to the Camry output shaft?

Yes, a few little ones but nothing too bad as yet. Alternator is now at the rear of the engine in the original location less the boat anchor to hold it there. New spring in the waste gate, some heat shielding, new coil, brakes to bleed and decent alignment are the main bits. The rest is OK for now.

I dont know if it is but the RAV4 did come out with this ratio so its possible but this ratio was available through a tuning house which may be the case. The final drive was in the car when I bought it.
Even if it doesnt fit, it can be machined to suit.
