The car is almost ready for its running and tune. The new manifold is sorted, being ceramic coated right now. Still have a few small boxes to tick before the tune but almost there.
Chances are,I will go straight to the track from the tuner.

This is a unfortunate update. I used the wrong timing belt causing the valves to nip the pistons causing yet another delay in getting the car up and running again.
As always, looking for the positive so the head will be built to handle the abuse it will receive for wasting so much of my time of late. Supertech valves, 1mm o/s, brass guides should solve this issue. The clutch sounds very cool, just like the old sports sedans! The engagment is bandwidth is about 15mm from the top of the pedal so its pretty much a light switch. Reverse works now. No plumbing leaks which is a relief.
Chances are the IC will be changed a relocated yet again. Running a similar set up to EVO65's is the plan. The scoop can then be used for air intake. Also set up a exhaust temp for tuning. Just need to tie it into the DL1 to make the most of it.
This is final setup for the turbo

Thanks mate, all good. I had a chat with the machinist yesterday who cleared everything up. It is all a blessing in disquise as the standard valves are two piece which would have failed under extreme load. They are all OK for street application but as this engine will be bangin out to redline for two hours straight, high g's, the temps will separate the valves causing failure, so its worth doing it right this time round. Also discovered the machine work which was done by Auburn Reconditioning was complete rubbish with regards to valve seating so they basically ballsed up every part of their work. I have a good mind to report them to Fair Trading..
I think every part of this car will be happy with every other part. The clutch, gearset, diff, tuff bottom end, built top end. Its going to be a serious power party once completed. It would be nice if it wheel spins in fourth! That would be cool.
