Yeah I'm loving it. I will admit it doesn't handle quite as well as the AW, but, not much does, and  it never was going to. In saying that, it has tein coilovers and is very planted. Changes direction surprisingly well.  Haven't taken it through any mountain roads yet. The power is intoxicating. And it has an automatic gearbox I must be getting old. The std auto in it is quite good though, and as it will be basically a street cruiser/drag car, so the auto suits it fine.

Bustin, not an auto as well!! I can give you the address to apply for the Seniors Card if you like to get the concessional rego. I know the address because I have one already.
I know most folks seem to prefer the manual gear change, and the so-called auto-magics are somewhat unloved, but with my AW11 S/C and its ECTS transmission you'd be hard pressed to get better performance in stock form.
I think the Supra is a great car and I hope you get a lot of enjoyment from owning it, although as Knightrous said they can be a lot harder to dock than what you are used to.
Hope to see you and your mate with the ADub and the submarine, oops sorry, Supra , on the 24th. Lets not loose the friendship just because the car changes, as I said before at least its still a Toyota.

Wow that thing looks awesome. The colour of the car suits it well.

I'd ask if you have big plans for it, but considering the power its making it may not be necessary haha

No big plans, just a few cosmetic fixups, and a proper tune. Then some test and tunes. The only real step up from what it is would be a big single turbo, but that would be some time away. Can be a pricey upgrade. But the rewards are there

I'd say its designed to be a cruiser/daily. Autos are great for that. Then again a Manual transmission behind all that torque would be unreal

No offense taken, I think SW20_3sgte and MR Turbo pretty much covered it.
They are cheaper than manual, and it's just gunna be a cruiser/occasional drag car. I use a bicycle as daily.
I'm looking at entering some drags, which will be dial your own racing, which rewards consistency.
So to that end an auto makes a lot of sense. Only the 2nd auto I've owned, other was an XY Fairmont.
Plus I'm not exactly 19 anymore, so I'm getting lazy.
