Hope everything works out quickly and smoothly for you mate. Having this happen is my biggest fear - I can't imagine how hard you'd have to suppress your anger and frustration to have someone else write off your pride & joy

Quick update.
 
Car is a very repairable write off and was only written off due to amount of $ needed to repair.
 
Im taking it to the panel beater I was going to just before the accident happened funnily enough as he has seen the photos and thinks it can be pulled back out.  The chassis rail did not get twisted where it overlaps deeper into the chassis so he thinks its not as bad as first thought.  
 
If its too pricey I'll be selling it as a repairable write off or parting it out as it does have some decent stuff on it.  Just got a new computer and tune too beginning of the year!  

How much did you end up getting for it as it was written off not in your control?

I got market value as an average based on glasses (insurance/dealers version of redbook) and 2 or 3 other current cars for sale on the market.
