Does anybody how well an ST215 inlet manifold flows compared to other possible manifolds such as Racer X, JUN etc.

I am building a 5SGTE and have an ST215 inlet manifold I was going to use, but obviously don't want it to be a restriction.
I have read it is bette than the stock Gen3, but if I am going for more than 250kw atw do i need to consider another manifold?
I did find this comparison between ST215 and RacerX, not that I want to spend that much money.

Also what is the drawback of having short runners (such as the RacerX picture in the above thread), they seem alot tidier to me, but I'm sure there is a reason people don't use them.

Inlet manifolds are nice, but rarely a restriction as such. Plenty making that power on std 205 and 215 manifolds.

Fair enough, you just see alot of high powered cars changing their inlet manifold. If not restriction then maybe for intercooler layout or somehow better response with shorter runners, or uneven air to each runner?

Shorter runners tend to reduce low end torque and power, as they are suited to high rpm flow.

So they suit drag/track work, or when your turbo/cam selection isnt at all efficient until the upper half of your rev range. Side effects on the street can make it a bit sluggish moving off from lights and pottering around in daily driving.

Thanks.
I'll stick with the original plan of the ST215 then and see how i go. Keeps in line with my philosophy of the engine bay looking standard too.
