Up for sale is my 1991 Toyota MR2 original turbo hardtop. I bought the car to remove the engine and use in another vehicle. Drove the car for 2 weeks prior to removing the engine.
THE GOOD:
- Registered Vehicle. Rego expires 1 August 2015.
- Original turbo hardtop shell. Perfect for someone who wants to build an original car or move their running gear into this one.
- Body has not been in any serious car accidents - all structural panels are straight.
- Complete car with brakes, suspension, upgraded exhaust. Comes with standard intercooler and piping, sway bars etc. All original interior parts are included.
THE BAD:
- Car has no engine or gearbox.
- Slight damage on passenger door.
- Ugly bodykit as shown in photos.
- Standard suspension is very low and bumpy.
- Powersteering is intermittent... cuts in and out whilst idling.
I am attempting to sell the car as a whole as it has registration and is a hardtop therefore hopefully someone out there has a need for it as I would hate to think another hardtop will be taken off the road forever....
however if nobody is interested I will most probably part the car so please mention if you are interested in either the car or parts if I was to wreck it.
