Road registered TRD Supercharged 2GR-FE 1994 Gen3 AUDM Targa SW20 (ex-N/A). (Lotus Evora S for the fraction of the price!)

One tidy and clean car. All in good shape, stock standard and original Gen3 goodness. Only major modifications are:

-          TRD Supercharged 2GR-FE (from 2007 TRD Aurion) inc. Gouki Mounts.

-          E153 Gearbox (rebuilt Rev 3 with Camry final drive 3.6 to 1 with Quaife LSD) and hubs/axles to suit.

-          Gouki exhaust manifolds, 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust, Magnaflow muffler high flow cat.

Minor (subtle) modifications to make the 2GR work include DBW throttle pedal, harness, cluster wiring etc..

Please note that the chassis's done 200,000Kms however most things are in a very good condition and EVERYTHING has being checked/inspected/replaced (i.e. fuel filter, hoses etc..) during the conversion/transplant.

This thread details the amount of work and money required to do a 2GR N/A swap (thanks to Eric and all the contributors)This 2GR is the very rare TRD supercharged, so add $3K min on top.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mike (Carmikey) the MR2 guru.. Mike is the man behind this transplant. His knowledge, patience, and love for MR2's is what made this happen.

Brakes/Wheels/Tyres Package (optional, but highly recommended to steer and stop a supercharged 2GR!!)

Porsche 911 (996) brake calipers all round, including their adapters (AKA dogbones)

- Project Mu Type HC+ Brake Pads all round (near new)

- Slotted RDA Rotors

- 5zigen Fn01R-C Wheels (17x9 and 17x8)

- Yokohama AD08R tyres (plenty of tread in them)

Price: SOLD including the package above fitted.  (If you are serious but not interested in the package above, I'm prepared to negotiate the price down and fit gen3 brakes/wheels for you)

Please no silly offers. Everyone now knows how much money/work involved in a 2GR conversion (let alone TRD supercharged). This car is an absolute bargain full stop.

Interstate Buyers: I'm happy to assist with freight sgtraight to your door through the trusted Get My RideI have used Joe to transport my cars before and he is a true professional (plus insured!).

Potential Buyers: If you are keen, I highly recommend you contact Mike (Carmikey on the forum) to get a complete, thorough and independent opinion of the car and what's been inspected/replaced etc.. to make the transplant happen.

And the heart about to go in:

As some may be aware, this engine/driveline package was installed and engineered (in VIC) in my other car (paperwork available). This means this car is engineerable in any state as Australian Design Rules simply dont change from a state to another.

I will not engineer this car atm as I don't know in which state the car will end up, and unfortunately I learned the hard way that not every state recognises interstate engineering certificates.

Keep us updated on the price, and what are you now fitting onto the hardtop?

Will do once transplant is finished. The hardtop will be sold as a professionally roll caged chassis (no engine/gearbox).

Does the hardtop already have the roll cage? I'm interested in a hardtop shell but it would need to be registerable

Yes. There will be a separate for-sale thread for it once the transplant is finished.

What throttle peddle do use for the DBW throttle? I was thinking that it may have been possible to adapt a late model corolla DBW throttle peddle so I am curious as to what you are using?

Eric
You can use an Aurion pedal and make a bracket to fit, but it sits quite high.

In my 2GR thread, one of the forum members used a ZRE15 Corolla pedal and the Gouky Pedal adapter to make it fit in the correct place. you do have to drill an extra hole though.

Do you know where I can buy the Gouky pedal adapter?
