BIG UPDATE! I bought a 1996 3VZ-FE Toyota Camry Vienta on Friday afternoon for peanuts. Engine burns no oil or coolant and idles beautifully. (Plenty of grunt!)
Progress:
Engine is a few nuts, bolts and plugs away from being pulled out of the camry.
Plans:
Keeping my S54 gearbox as I already have a quaiffe lsd in there.
Elongating the bolt holes on my lightweight TODA 3sge flywheel.
Modifying the v6 extractors (Have read that this frees up a bit of power).
Advance timing and commit to 98 octane only.
Retain factory airbox if possible.
Find a way to keep aircon.
