Previous owner had them installed without tie rod ends. I knew I had to either get the tie rods or remove them.
 
I decided to remove them as I run the car a fair bit higher then when I bought it, and it also saved me having to spend more $$.

My front signals are yellow and faded so I decided to spend my day off giving them a bit of a refurb before I shell out for a new set.
 
I went down to the local hardware store and picked up some sand paper. I went with a 600 grit and a 1200 grit. I had originally planned to also use a 2000 grit but they didn't have any. I sanded until the dust turned from yellow to white with the 600 and then used the 1200 to smooth it out. Finally I used some car polish I had lying around to finish it off.
 

 
I'm pretty happy with the result for $3 worth of sandpaper and some elbow grease!

They're great, I had a good chance to compare them to tein ss coilovers on the new mr2. They are both good on the street but the kw's are better on the track.

Some progress on the build! Jeff at RacerX is nearing completion on the order and has sent some pics through of the turbo setup on their engine. Can't wait :)

Just one week till it all ships! Then I get my hands dirty installing everything :D

I just realised you can also see the new intake manifold on the ground, bottom left. Not the best view but I think its my favourite piece looks wise.
 

What size EFR did you go with Steve?
 
Cant wait to see how it goes as I really want to go with an EFR myself and am tossing between a 7670 and the 8374.
