Are you actually taking heed of what the people above are trying to suggest?

You seem to be completely disinterested in their ideas and settling for bull-at-a-gate solutions like the G4.

Tried pulling the ECU apart to check the caps? Checked the AFM to see if its actually working correctly? (and yes, they DO **** themselves often)  There are a multitude of things that you either haven't bothered looking at, or you are just ignoring everyone's best intents.

Please start with the checking the basics before digging yourself a hole you can't possibly get out of.

You are full of it Graham. I have check all the solutions and have checked peoples ideas and suggestion out and I have taking on people comments and looked into it. The problem with know it alls, they do know it all other wise they would know how not to comment on stuff they don't know about! If you want to talk s***t like this do it to my face. If I want to put a in a Links G4 into the car, it's up to me not you. Was planning on doing this later anyway.

Why don't you report back with your findings on the tests myself and others have suggested? That way it will rule certain things out and people can make new suggestions.

Did you check the ecu capacitors?
Confirmed the circuit opening relay is functioning correctly?
Tried borrowing a known working ecu?
Tried borrowing a known working AFM?
Asked someone to test your ecu in a known working car (without any issues)?

You should be able to figure this quite quickly either swapping parts or performing tests from the BGB.

Takes time to write long winded explanations of what is happening. In this thread I have stated I tested opening relay and I have swap it to an other car, swap ECU with friends car and tried his in mine, as stated can not find an ECU with Late Model Gen 2 ECU. By the way this issue happen after the car was at crash repair place, I think the welding done on the car could have damaged the ECU, as I just remembered that the battery and ECU was not disconnected. I have not pull the ECU apart yet, and have no idea what to check on it anyway. I will get to opening up the ECU and look at anything obvious when time permits.
Thanks for your input.

I know it can take time to explain the situation but everyone that replies to threads like these is committing time to helping (thinking about the problem, researching and making suggestions etc)

I think you previously mentioned that you tried another ecu but used a different part number. Possibly from an early gen 2 engine. That will never work as the ecu pin outs are different.

Have you thought about perhaps creating a new thread in "Help-Urgent!!!" and asking for help on the following from someone in your local area/state?
Tried borrowing a known working ecu with the correct part number?
Tried borrowing a known working AFM?
Asked someone to test your ecu in a known working car (without any issues)?

Anyway I'll leave it at that. Good luck fixing your problem.

If u have access to one, try another AFM first. Ive seen this problem recently. I think i have a few ecus lying around. I know there's a blitz one kicking around the shed somewhere... ive never even plugged it in tho so cant confirm it even works.

I don't think is is the AFM, but I check it.
The problem is finding this ECU anywhere here in Aust.

Be happy to borrow one, just to check if this is the issue if any can help. I can only find one ECU on Ebay and they want over $1000 for it. I rather buy a Links g4 V2 as it seem to the cheaper option at moment. Also spoke to my tuner with current setup of the car I will get 220rwkw on 98 or 250 to 260rwkw on E85 with a links. I already spent $7000 on the motor already.

I'm a happy man tonight found the problem it the ECU, its was obvious when I open up the ECU.
Check this out

So ECU do break down. Found two like this one on the main board and one on the top.

Just so you guys know late gen 2 top ECU board is smaller than the earlier ones.

May be able to fix this for couple of dollars.
