Hi everyone,
I need to check a part number to see if a Power FC will suit my car.
I've asked Apexi, and they are non responsive.
I have a Gen III SW20, and I have this...

Please let me know of any information you might be able to provide.

Thanks in advance! :)

Ah, so all AP Engineering Power FCs are for Gen II SW20s?
Not for Gen I or Gen III?

yes I'm pretty sure that AP engineering ecu were for gen 2.
Although it can still work on a gen 3. (its basically just been wired under the cover to suit a gen 2)
Tristan (WTFauto) should be able to help you with making it work on a gen 3 if you already bought it.

Yep the AP pfc is for a late gen 2 engine / revision 2 car. From memory mid 1991 to around 1993.

Gen3 pfcs have always been cheaper than the AP ones so I'd just wait and get the right one.

Yup - its certianly for Gen II Engines with the AFM. (AP Engineering ones were the Gen II)

They did generally resell for a higher value. I'd personally wait for a Gen III to come along and sell the one you already have.

Yup you have an AP engineering Power FC. With a Gen3 you need just the regular Power FC.

I can source a regular from Japan for you if you need.
